आज दिनांक ०२-०३-२०२० को बिड़ला छात्रावास अ में एक विशेष व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया । व्याख्यान का विषय ''भारत का प्राचीन इतिहास : एक मूल्याङ्कन'' था । वक्ता के रूप में डॉ अभय कुमार थे ।  डॉ अभय कुमार काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के प्राचीन भारतीय इतिहास ,संस्कृति एवं पुरातत्व विभाग में सहायक प्राध्यापक हैं ।  उन्होंने अपने व्याख्यान की शुरुआत सर्वप्रथम इतिहास का परिचय देते हुए प्राचीन इतिहास के संदर्भो पर चर्चा से की । डॉ कुमार ने छात्रों के मन में चल रहे विभिन्न सवालों के जवाब दिए । उन्होंने प्राचीन इतिहास के अध्ययन के विविध आयामों पर चर्चा किया । उन्होंने विभिन्न प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में इतिहास से पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्नो पर भी चर्चा की । वर्तमान में इतिहास के पाठ्यक्रम पर भी चर्चा की । उन्होंने इतिहास से किस तरह के प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं इस बात पर भी बल दिया । उन्होंने ने इतिहास की सतत मूल्याङ्कन की अवधारणा को प्रस्तुत किया और छात्रों के हर प्रश्न को संतुष्ट किया । उन्होंने इतिहास विषय के अकादमिक और अन्य अवसरों एवं सेवाओं के बारे में भी बताया । समस्त बिड़ला परिवार ह्र...

A special lecture on the topic '' Archaeology: Career and Scope '' had held in the Birla Hostel 'A', BHU. The guest was Dr Sachin Kumar Tiwary who is currently posted as Assistant Professor in department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology of Banaras Hindu University. He has delivered the lecture on the above topic very clearly and thoroughly. He told about the archaeology as '' Archaeology is the scientific study of the materials e.g. artifacts remain of past human life and activities. '' He told about the scope of archaeology as interest in our heritage and we have to live our antiquity and also should maintain our antiquity to make them heritage. लगातार दूसरी बार पूरे विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों को पीछे छोड़ते हुए बिड़ला छात्रावास ' अ'  के छात्र सत्यम कुमार ने विश्वविद्यालय के वार्षिक कार्यक्रम 'स्पन्दन' में आयोजित निबंध प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान हासिल कर संपूर्ण  बिड़ला परिवार का नाम रोशन किया है | सत्यम ने लगातार दूसरी बार यह प्रतियोगिता जीती है | संपूर्ण बिड़ला परिवार उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर गौरवान्वित है |छात्रावास के प्रशासनिक संरक्षक डॉ विक्रम सिंह ने प्रत्यक्ष रूप से सत्यम को बधाई दी | सत्यम काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय के कला संकाय के बी0  ए0  द्वितीय वर्ष के छात्र हैं | सत्यम बिड़ला छात्रावास ' अ'  के अन्तःवासी हैं | हम सभी सत्यम के उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना करते हैं |

                                            This club is dedicated to all BIRLAites.  The inception of the sports club is done to inculcate and promote the sports culture amongst the students. The club will also facilitate the students to participate in various sports festivals and tournaments organized across various stages in the country. We will also conduct inter hostel tournaments of numerous sports to take their mind off the strenuous academic schedule and keep them physically fit and motivated. The club will also organize various events in the hostel like Inter-Hostel Indoor Games e.g. Badminton,TableTennis, Chess and Outdoor Games e.g. Cricket, Football and others.
