Birla Hostel 'A'

Background - The Faculty has one of the oldest hostels in the University named Birla Hostel constructed way back in 1921 by the legendary industrialist Shri Jugal Kishore Birla in the memory of his father Raja Baldev Das Birla. It is a large hostel and for administrative purposes it was divided in 3 sub-hostels - Birla A, Birla B and Birla C; about a decade back. Undergraduate students are accommodated in Birla A while Birla B is meant for Research Scholars and Birla C for Postgraduate students. Administration - There are one Administrative Warden and two wardens in the hostel. Facilities - There are many curricular and extracurricular facilities in the hostel. 1.
